I've had a habit of tossing these around and dropping them even while fully filled with water and they've never cracked or busted. Even the lid I've banged up a bajillion times and only after 2-3 years of abuse did the clip finally give way where it latches shut! Even then, I glued the plastic piece back on and used it for several more months.
