I've not regretted it at all (up to now). I've had the cable installed for around 3 weeks, the colour and clarity is a HUGE upgrade from the previous cable and I've had no handshake issues at all. Before I bought this, I tried an optical HDMI from a reputable high street store which failed to transmit 10-bit and would only do 8. I wrote to the seller asking for the latest version, they were very helpful and shipped the cable immediately. It took around 1 week which was a lot quicker than expected. Review: Very temperamental - Needed longer HDMI’s for aesthetic purposes, bought these as they’re highly rated and high spec, honestly not worth the money. Devices and TV worked great before and now not so much. Select a game on the Xbox and the signal just disappears, have to switch the unit off and on and then sometimes it keeps happening other times it works fine. I bought 2 leads, same thing with both leads. Everything’s connected correctly (source in source, tv in tv etc). The quality is fine (when it works) just the connectivity and reliability is the issue. Imagine every time you want to use a device you have to off and on it til it works ## Features - 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 - Gen3/C cable supports 8K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz and Dynamic HDR for films and gaming on compatible devices - Hybrid Fibre Optic Design - Optical video transmission helps reduce EMI effects and signal loss for reliable long-distance connections - Gaming and Media Features - Supports VRR, ALLM and QFT for responsive gaming, plus QMS for media switching on compatible devices - eARC Home Cinema Audio - Supports high-bitrate audio, Dolby Atmos and DTS with compatible TVs, soundbars and AV receivers - Wide Compatibility - For PS5, Xbox Series X, gaming PCs, TVs, monitors and projectors with HDMI. Supports HDCP 2.2/2.3 ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B081SH3LXK | | Best Sellers Rank | 130 in HDMI Cables | | Brand | RUIPRO | | Cable Type | Green Fiber Optic | | Cable type | Green Fiber Optic | | Colour | Green Fibre Optic Cable | | Compatible Devices | Laptop, Monitor, PC, Projector, Television | | Compatible Phone Models | Attribute not applicable for product | | Compatible devices | Laptop, Monitor, PC, Projector, Television | | Compatible phone models | Attribute not applicable for product | | Connectivity Technology | HDMI | | Connector Gender | Male | | Connector Type | HDMI | | Connector type | HDMI | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Package Type | rigid box or sealed anti-static bag | | Data Transfer Rate | 49152 Megabytes Per Second | | Ethernet Cable Category | Cat 5e | | Frequency | 48 GHz | | Included Components | fiber and copper | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Length | 3 Feet | | Item Shape | Round | | Item Weight | 0.13 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | RUIPRO | | Manufacturer Part Number | SNUKAOC21V101A_01 | | Model Name | RUIPRO 8K Glasfaser-HDMI-Kabel | | Model Number | SNUKAOC21V101A_01 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pins | 19 | | Other Special Features of the Product | High Speed | | Outer Material | Metal and Plastic | | Product Warranty | Lifetime Warranty | | Recommended Uses For Product | For use recommended in high-end home theater systems, gaming systems and other applications requiring high-quality video and audio streaming. | | Special feature | High Speed | | Specification Met | HDMI 2.1 | | UPC | 760882034004 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** RUIPRO - **Cable type:** Green Full Fibre Optic Cable - **Compatible devices:** Projector, Laptop, PC, Monitor, Television - **Connector type:** HDMI - **Special feature:** High Speed ## Images ![RUIPRO 8K HDMI 2.1 Fibre Optic Cable, 48Gbps, 8K60, 4K120, HDR, eARC, 1 m - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71LBMWcO63L.jpg) ![RUIPRO 8K HDMI 2.1 Fibre Optic Cable, 48Gbps, 8K60, 4K120, HDR, eARC, 1 m - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ibd1HGmoL.jpg) ![RUIPRO 8K HDMI 2.1 Fibre Optic Cable, 48Gbps, 8K60, 4K120, HDR, eARC, 1 m - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71xQd-02swL.jpg) ![RUIPRO 8K HDMI 2.1 Fibre Optic Cable, 48Gbps, 8K60, 4K120, HDR, eARC, 1 m - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71lbhf9VjmL.jpg) ![RUIPRO 8K HDMI 2.1 Fibre Optic Cable, 48Gbps, 8K60, 4K120, HDR, eARC, 1 m - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61m8xpTdoDL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Cable Type** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is an Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable?** A: The Ultra High Speed HDMI Cables comply with stringent specifications designed to ensure support for high resolution video modes such as 4Kp50/60/100/120 and 8Kp50/60 as well as new features such as eARC and VRR. **Q: What features of the HDMI 2.1b cable are for video gaming and media playback?** A: HDMI 2.1b has the following features Auto Low-Latency Mode (ALLM) Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) Quick Frame Transport (QFT) **Q: Are all HDMI 2.1 cables labeled as "Ultra High Speed"?** A: Yes, HDMI 2.1 cables, including 8K 2.1 HDMI Cables, are often labeled as "Ultra High Speed." My laptop is a Zephyrus G14 2023 with an RTX 4090, while my TV is a Philips OLED 910 65''. I was worried that the connection might not be stable over 3 meters, at 144Hz refresh rate + HDR + 4K, so I went for a fiber optic cable. I've been using the cable for 3 months and so far everything has been working well. I never had any issue with frame rate or HDR or audio. Everything works as expected. The cable is connected directly from the laptop to the TV without any additional adapters, then I use a wireless controller to game. I had tried to use a Cable Matters angled HDMI adapted on the TV side to see if it was easier to connect the cable, but I wasn't getting the expected frame rate on the TV, as the HDMI had started operating at a lower bandwidth. In the end, I didn't need the adapter and I was able to connect the RUIPRO cable directly to the TV without issues. This Philips TV has a tight space on the back for the HDMI cables, but this RUIPRO isn't as stiff and thick as other non-fiber HDMI cables, so I could connect it directly without adapters. ## Frequently Bought Together - RUIPRO 8K Fiber Optic HDMI Cable 3 Feet 48Gbps 8K60Hz 4K120Hz Dynamic HDR eARC HDCP2.2/2.3 for RTX4080/4090/3080/3090, Xbox S/X, PS5/4, AVR, Projector, LG/Samsung/Sony TV - RUIPRO Certified Short HDMI Cable, Ultra Thin 8K HDMI 2.1 Cable 3FT 2 Pack, Ultra High Speed 48Gbps, Support 8K@60Hz 4K@120Hz, Dynamic HDR, eARC, Compatible with PS5/Xbox/HDTV/Blu-ray/Monitor --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/233896356-ruipro-8k-hdmi-2-1-fibre-optic-cable-48gbps-8k60](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/233896356-ruipro-8k-hdmi-2-1-fibre-optic-cable-48gbps-8k60) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
