It can be diluted 1 cup cider to 7 cups water for a great drink, but I use it as is in everything from cookies, cakes and caramel applesauce (caramel flavoring from Lorann) to my extra special smoked ribs. I smoke ribs in a stove top smoker for an hour and 1/2, with about 1/4 cup of pecan and apple wood, (Camerons) and the drip tray filled with 2 cups of diluted cider. Even though the directions say to smoke "dry" I have found that this cider keeps them moist and tender, and the flavor is unbeatable! I also added it to homemade applesauce, and it gave the applesauce a stronger apple flavor and more zing. I'm looking forward to trying it with an apple caramel recipe from King Arthur Flour.I considered making my own homemade boiled cider, but my costs would be about the same as buying it from Amazon, so it's worth buying.
