The device splits the Toslink TV fiber audio output into two separate fiber outputs. I use one to split between a stereo receiver with Digital Optical input and a Bluetooth hearing aid interface with the Toslink input simultaneously. **Q: How long is the optical cable that comes with the device?** A: It doesn’t come with one. The only cord is the power cord. You’ll need optical cables for the in and out. **Q: Can I switch the output?** A: I’m not sure I understand the question. You can connect it to a number of different devices, such as sound bar, headphones, etc. I’m assuming “output” is where you want sound to come from. **Q: Can I use this to run 2 sound bars at the same time. IE 2 sound bars playing the same sound from the TV?** A: There are three optical out ports that can be used to hook up both sound bars. I have our sound bar and a portable speaker hooked up to mine and they both work simultaneously playing what’s on TV. The TV optical port is hooked to the in port on the splitter. ## Frequently Bought Together - VPFET 8K HDMI 2.1 Audio Extractor 4K120Hz to Optical 3.5mm AUX Adapter Splitter Converter Supports HDCP Digital DTS 5.1 PCM for PS4 PS5 Xbox - Amazon Basics Toslink Digital Optical Audio Cable, Multi-Channel, for Audio System, Sound Bar, Home Theatre, Gold-Plated Connectors, 6 Foot, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/232321982-8k60hz-audio-extractor](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/232321982-8k60hz-audio-extractor) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
