Will this protect?** A: Yes, it will work, but a better product would be "FIXATIVE" or "FIXATIF". It's specifically made to seal pencils and inks without adding any finish to it, and still allowing you to work over it if you need to (very useful with pencil and charcoal). I've used Fixative for close to 20 years, and have tried other sealers as well. The spray comes out in a very fine mist, was not shiny, did not leave a "coated look" and protected my canvas bags well. To use, simply shake and spray the product on from about 8-12" away. I had no issues with bubbles or uneven spray, and the spray did a fantastic job of sealing in my work. It's easy to apply, dries quickly, and makes for long-lasting painting projects.
