**Q: What is the best flavor?**
A: I really liked the Strawberry-Lime, it reminds me of a slushy as well. You will have to swirl it around the bottle as it has some sediment type stuff that may settle if left undisturbed. Still good though.Edit to add, there is another Amino from the same company the PRO version, has more aminos and no stimulants, only comes in 2 flavors though, not the same as these.

**Q: Best flavor**
A: Watermelon and Grape are the best. Orange and Pineapple were good, not great.

**Q: Do you take this instead of muscletech whey for example.**
A: Muscletech whey is a protein. Amino Energy doesn't contain protein, it's used for an energy boost pre, during or post workout. So you'd use them in conjunction with each other.

**Q: is there any artificial colors and sweeteners?**
A: Yes, natural and artificial sweeteners, sucralose (splenda), and phenylalanine.

I have been using this stuff for about 10 years and absolutely love it. There are multiple different flavors to try. Take as directed, 1 scoop per day is all I needed. If I take more than one and after a certain time of day, it does keep me awake. I just add a scoop to my water bottle shake until it dissolves, easy to digest.When my mom was diagnosed with cancer, she drank this stuff everyday and never had side effects from her chemo treatments

I've been using Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy - Watermelon for years now. I have one drink during my workout and another one after. Admittedly, the second one is just because I really love the flavor. It isn't as intense as a pre-workout, but it provides the right amount of caffeine to wake me up and keep me going.The quality and flavor are always consistent - haven't had a 'bad batch' yet. And it easily dissolves in water, there isn't clumping or weird mouth feel. I'll continue being a customer for years to come.
