Installation was completely painless—just swap it into a 2.5” bay, plug in SATA power and data, and the system recognized it immediately. It runs on SATA III, so you’re not getting NVMe speeds, but within its lane it’s excellent: I consistently see read/write speeds in the 500 MB/s range, which is about as good as SATA gets.Where this drive shines is the sheer amount of storage at this price point. A full 2TB of solid-state space means I can keep my operating system, a hefty Steam library, and a ton of media files all on solid-state storage without juggling multiple smaller drives. Boot times and program launches are instant, and large file transfers are smooth.The build feels solid, it runs cool, and I haven’t run into any hiccups like sudden disconnects or system freezes.
