Thanks for the question. 303 Protectant is water based, so it will not harm the finish. Some people actually use it on their vehicle's clear coat finishes, however, we do not recommend it for this application. The reason is, in order to provide great results and avoid streaking or swirls, great care must be taken in applying it, which involves a very meticulous process. We have a 9 yr old a5th wheel and it has never been washed and waxed. We let mother nature do the washing, the we use 303 twice a year on the whole unit. Very easy to use, spray on and wipe off.
