Put them in water for 2 weeks and roots will come out and then put them in pots. I used bonsai training pots for each of them. They did OK for the first 3 months and after that, they started to drop leaves and turn yellow. I stopped watering and they got worse. I lost all of them. I believe they would do better inside but not entirely sure. sorry! **Q: How many times are you supposed to water it** A: I'd have to honestly say that it would depend on how the atmosphere is in your setting where u put the willow. Ex..my home ID extremely drying so for what a normal home or apartment air is may it be dry warm or in between is the best I can say on watering.
