Review: Household Utility snap off Knife from Stanley - A stronger and sturdy knife for daily use . Its blade is strong and have a locking mechanism and can be snapped open by a thumb movement. It gets locked in place to give more safety while operating it. I use it for cutting various household materials such as paper, cardboard, plastic and acrylic sheets and also for cutting open parcels or packages. Very useful and easy and safe to operate. Its blade can be replaced by opening the rear snap cover. Good quality blade, strong and sturdy and easy to use. But One Word CAUTION. BE VERY CAREFUL in using it. You can have a very nasty cut if handled without sufficient care. Its blade is very sharp. Please do not allow children below 15 years to handle it even though, it has a child safety locking mechanism, it is not advisable for children to handle it . I did have an accidental nasty cut of the tip of my left middle finger with part of nail also cut, which needed a plastic surgeon's assistance to stitch it and mend the wound.

A stronger and sturdy knife for daily use . Its blade is strong and have a locking mechanism and can be snapped open by a thumb movement. The package was delivered before time snugly packed. FIRST IMPRESSION: The cutter from Stanely is truly the best. It performs really like a beast. The best product you can lay your hands on. This is what I was looking for in a cutter. The blades are sharp enough to cut through thermocol as well as cartons appropriately. The locking mechanism works really well. We can lock the blades at an appropriate desired length and it also holds on a lot of pressure. Now I can cut through cartons with ease. Although this instrument is costly, but I really feel that it is worth every penny. VERDICT I would really recommend this cutter to people who regularly require to cut through cartons and other stuff. Otherwise, any cheap cutter would do the job. This product is all about excellence and that's what it delivers.
