## Questions & Answers

**Q: My backup camera occasionally receives less than 12v, would this be a good way to stabilize that even if it's sometimes less than 12v?**
A: Yes, as long as this unit has enough current, it will generate solid 12v to stabilize it.

**Q: 20 Guage wire?  Isn't that rated for less than 12A?**
A: 144 watts / 12 volts = 12 amps. Anyway, the wire is not 20 gauge but near 12 or 14 awg which is fine for 15 or 20 amps.

**Q: How to install this on a car**
A: 12V Regulator Connection:Input: red(+) black(-)Output: yellow(+) black(-)Protection: input transient high voltage protection, output over-current protection, chip over-temperature protection.(please note that there is no input short circuit protection and reversed connection protection, please connect wires correctly, or the power may be burnt)

**Q: Can this be used to stabilize my power into a convertor on a solar LifePo system using 24 volt into 110 v convertor?**
A: Not in the slightest. First of all, your "converter" is actually an inverter: it inverts from DC into AC at 120v. The 110 nomenclature has to do with the voltage drop associated with the wire run from the transformer to your home.

The wattage (amperage times voltage) supplied by this unit is too small to power an inverter. You need a dedicated 24v inverter to run from a 24v battery/bank or a voltage regulator (different from a stabilizer) that can handle high amperage. Unfortunately these typically range from $800-$4,000 or so (not counting liars on Amazon) and you're far better off getting a quality 24v inverter. It's definitely inconvenient, but it's a matter of the sizes of wires required to dissipate heat and handle the higher current (amperage) values.
