A: I’ve not put it in the oven. However, I do put it in the dishwasher.

**Q: The description says this 8"x12" product is 100% marble, but also mentions wood trim.  Which is it?**
A: There is no wood trim on mine. I hope this helps.

**Q: Can you put hot items on it?**
A: I assume you can.

**Q: Is this made in China?**
A: I don’t know but it is very well made, very heavy for the size and looks very upscale.  I was pleasantly surprised by the quality.

I absolutely love it use it for everything. It took me some time to get used to the weight but it’s worth it. Washable, dries fast, always clean, no plastic shreds, no rotting wood. Love it all the way! The only regret I have is not buying it sooner. Update: Been loving this board for almost two years now. No stains, looks like new!
