**Q: Can the speakers handle a 1000 watt amp**
A: Depends on the head unit and what type of equalizer you have .

**Q: Can these handle a 2400 watt amp?**
A: I have a 2000watt amp on these and I blew one of the subs so I would say 2400 is too much

**Q: Can this box, accommodate other types of subwoofers? I was thinking of alpines r subwoofer.**
A: It can but it defeats the purpose of the box.

When mated with the manufacturer recommended kenwood amp, these punch well above their price point. I’ve had them for 3 years and no problems.

The box is very well built The subsit extremely hard with the correct amp. Ended up putting in a 2000w Scar amp with base control knob and turned up quarter of the way and you could hear or feel the bass from down the road. My only complaint is the grills over the subs rattle I will probably remove them.
