Before buying this compressor I have owned a Harbor Freight branded one, and some generic no name unit, both of which failed within the first 3 trips. I am not a super serious offroader. I go on a trip about once a month. So far this has been the best 12v compressor I have ever owned. I used it 3 times at home before taking it on an offroading trip in Moab, UT with 3 of my buddies. We aired up and down twice and the All Top handled it like a champ. It did get warm around the compressor output, but that's just physics, and it never skipped a beat. The compressor seems to be fairly well built. It is definitely heavier than its competition, but I don't think it is quite the quality of something from ARB, but I have never owned one. The power lead on the compressor is a good length for my use case, which is a slightly lifted midsize SUV. I usually put the compressor on the ground, run the power cable up to my battery, and reach all the tires with the hose. If you had a monster truck I think you would need to leave the compressor in the engine bay or get something to put the compressor on to raise it up. The hose is a good length but the gauge on it is basically useless. Id rather it just have nothing to be honest. The accessory bag includes a few useful goodies. It has a quick disconnect for air up tires, a few nozzles for blowing up balls or inflatable pools, and an adapter that will allow you to hook standard air tools to the non standard quick connect this compressor uses. Generally when I fill up my tires I use the gauge on the hose to guesstimate what pressure the tire is actually at, disconnect the hose, and check it with a second gauge. I guess you could attach one of those tire inflators with the air tool adapter but this method works fine for me. Review: Super fast, well made! - This is an awesome compressor! Hose range is long enough to reach all 4 tires. Use an external tire gage so that you can disconnect and check tire pressure without having to turn off compressor. It filled up the car tires +7lb in ~50sec. Everything fit well together. I use these with my 4-tire inflator system and can air my 37’s from 20psi - 36-psi in 2 mins. All 4 tires in 2 mins.. **Q: Where was this made?** A: Where do u think?? Everything's made in China!! **Q: How long is the cord with the alligator clips that connect to your battery** A: Is about 6.5 foot. It’s long enough to connect from my lifted pickup to the ground. Then from the front you can reach all four tires with the inflation hose. **Q: does it automatically stops at a setting point?** A: If you do the modifications to auto start/stop it really needs an air tank to operate correctly. These put out so much air volume the pump waves will pop the valve which is pretty low at like 120psi. Very happy with the product! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not bad needs upgrades *by 3***A on August 17, 2022* This pump does move a good bit of air. The air hose set up is a waste of effort. I had to modify mine right off the bat. The aluminum air tube inside the handle is perfect size to put a male npt die on it. That let me put in a standard tee fitting. On o e side I put on a 100 psi switch the other a standard brass quick connector. The pressure switch I put in series with the power switch inside to run the internal relay. Works good in this configuration with auto start stop feat3. The power leads are way too small of gauge to handle the specified 45 amps. Need to move those up to some 8 Guage wire as they do get warm. The air coming out it HOT! be careful you will burn yourself on the air hose fitting. After pumping up 8 tires well withing the 45 min duty cycle this thing was too hot to pick up and put away. Use a good quality hose off the pump. I will probably change mine to a stainless steel line before the quick connect to help bleed of heat. So I don't burn myself again on the fitting. Pumped up a 285/75r17 tire from 15 psi to 38 psi with ease and quick. Forgot to time but fast enough to know you are moving air. This is not a small or light pump, you will need space to store it, it is not a throw under the seat pump. I will probably buy another and mod it too to give to a friend it it last for a few trips.
