What I was looking for was something that would be able to hold laundry detergent and fabric softener. Especially when I’m on the go and just want to take a bit with me. This is extremely helpful. First of all the plastic seems very well-made and very durable. It seems like it has some thickness to it which I’m surprised at but pleasantly surprised at. The little cap works well - it locks so it does not open if I throw it in the bag and you press the button by accident. And then, when you unlock it and you press the lid, it flips right open very easily. It is definitely watertight. And I like the little filters that come in it, which would be very useful if I did use this for drinking out of. As it would hold the ice and hold the fruit and whatever else in the actual container and not coming through to your mouth. But again I use this for fabric softener and laundry detergent, and the bottle is very easy to mark off with a permanent marker for where I can delineate each load measurement.
