The spotter arm can be adjusted as low as 2'06" off the floor, possible floor but that's what I have it set at right now. **Q: How long are the spotters?** A: They are 6 1/2 inches **Q: This works for rack pulls and bench work or no?** A: I bought them to use for benching and incline benching and squaring not sure if that answers your question but the higher you raise them you need a plate weight on the legs of them little wobbly but mainly use it for bench work outs **Q: What is the correct tool/size to make sure the bottom nuts are fully tightened as doing it by hand leaves a lot of space in between nut and bar ?** A: I used two wrenches. One to hold and the other to tighten. They're called lock nuts, they have that blue rubber piece in them.
