Instead of us spending hours/days trying to make our own tricorn hat and costume we found this costume for a reasonable price. The whole costume could be fit in a child's backpack and put on without adult help. And it actually doesn't look cheap...it actually looks great once you get it on. Saved with used said it was like new with minimal signs of wear, consistent with only being tried on and not used so I bought it to save a little money since my son would only be wearing this once for his school project. Well it arrived and it was very much used with white stuff all over it and other spots all over the jacket and vest. The packaging even had an Amazon sticker that it was inspected. It was probably only inspected to make sure all the pieces were there cause it was used. I would also say the size is on the smaller side of the sizing. Get a size bigger if your kid is on the bigger side of the sizing they have listed.
