Thx!** A: I didn't have to make any modification on the two telecaster control plates I did this mod on. Fit right in with no problems. **Q: what are the tip dimensions? CRL switches fits a .052" x .188" (1.32mm x 4.78mm) stem; metric switches fits a .047" x .138" (1.2mm x 3.5mm) stem?** A: Should be generally the same dimensions as the CRL. You would not want to use a metric tip with this as the switch is intended for guitars with imperial (U.S. Spec. )dimensioned parts. **Q: Which switch position is series and which is paralell?** A: It depends on how you wore the switch, but I did it so all the way toward the neck pickup is series, next is neck pickup on it’s own, then parallel, and finally all the way toward the bridge is bridge pickup on its own. Installing the switch does require some basic soldering skills, as well as adding an extra wire to the neck pickup.
