Erratic alerts and slow gps speed. Not worth the price - Not impressed. Returned it. It was alerting when I was doing 29 in a 30 but didn't alert when doing 44 in 40. Gps speed is slow and jumpy. Seems like a cheap product and certainly not worth the price even if it did work properly. Avoid. I got a Road Angel synch instead and it works properly as I thought this would but doesn't. I am tech save and checked every setting but still couldn't make it work properly. ## Features - Speed Camera Detector UK and EU - The Snooper MySpeed speed radar detector database alerts drivers to the location of all types of GPS speed cameras including Gatso, Truvelo, Specs and Watchman across the UK and Europe. - 5” Display - The large display ensures you can easily see information on the screen, speed limit is displayed on the right and current speed on the left. It's says you don't but when you register the device it asks for a payment for use of speed camera detection. **Q: How does it alert the driver about exceeding speed limit ? Voice, display ?** A: The circle around the speed limit will change from green to Red and the unit will/can beep. The unit will also beep when the speed limit changes to a lower limit. Both of these 'beeps' are selectable and can be switch on and off in the user settings. There is a voice alert for speed cameras but not for speed limit changes **Q: Does the gvr d3 read the gps signal ok through range rover screen they have a coating that inhibits the signal and causes incorrect readings** A: Yes it will work OK through athermic/metaloxide windscreens **Q: Is this a sat nav** A: No. I use it every day to inform me what the speed limit is and it tells me what speed I am doing. It is very good at doing its job and very useful if you are unaware of the local speed limits but it is not a sat nav. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Get one or get fined ! *by C***E on 19 March 2026* Sound quality is ok and lower price than on amazon than eBay Works well and saves getting a fine well worth the money and good warnings ### ⭐ Does do what it says it does. Erratic alerts and slow gps speed. Not worth the price *by T***S on 8 October 2026* Not impressed. Returned it. It was alerting when I was doing 29 in a 30 but didn't alert when doing 44 in 40. Gps speed is slow and jumpy. Seems like a cheap product and certainly not worth the price even if it did work properly. Avoid. I am tech save and checked every setting but still couldn't make it work properly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Camera shy *by A***Y on 31 August 2025* I could moan about speed trap vans but I won’t. A moments lapse can be costly so investment in this is worth it. Bright screen, just a momentary pause till it catches up with the signage. Good warnings, so far I’m impressed. ## Frequently Bought Together - Snooper Speed Camera Detector MySpeed XL G2 S5100 Plus Speed Camera Detectors for Cars UK - Police Radar Detectors for Cars - Car Speed Limit Warning Device, Black - YANTU 150W Car Cigarette Lighter Multi Socket, Cigarette Lighter Splitter With 12V USB Socket, Cigarette Lighter Adapter With Double/Dual Plug/Port & Extension Lead for all Car Devices - Car Charger Cigarette Lighter Adapter, QC3.0 & PD Cigarette Lighter USB Socket Splitter with LED Voltmeter, 12V/24V Car USB Charger Splitter Fast Charging for Phones GPS Vehicle Devices --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/225702682-myspeed-xl-g2-s5100-plus-speed-camera-detectors-for-cars](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/225702682-myspeed-xl-g2-s5100-plus-speed-camera-detectors-for-cars) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
