## Description

The Master Magnetics Roll-N-Cut Flexible Magnetic Tape Refill is perfect for making flat, lightweight items magnetic. This strong magnetic tape sticks smoothly to paper, wood, glass, painted or stainless steel, aluminum, and plastic. It requires direct and full contact with steel for maximum hold. The magnet and adhesive work best when flat and applied above 60°F. It's ideal for DIY projects and crafts. To use, allow the magnet to reach room temperature, then cut the magnet with heavy-duty scissors or a hobby knife. Apply the magnet's dark gray side to the large metal surface for several hours to flatten the curl. Do not roll the magnet strip in the opposite direction to remove the curl. Clean the applicable surface for adhesive with isopropyl alcohol and allow it to dry. Peel the back liner from the adhesive and place the item on the adhesive. Apply adhesive to the surface with firm pressure. Allow adhesive to dry for at least 24 or 72 hours to reach maximum bond with the surface.

A: Yes, but please keep in mind that one side of the magnet is adhesive. Also the magnetic strength is very weak, which I guess would be ideal for your particular purpose. At either rate, I hope this information helps. Good luck!

**Q: Can I use this magnetic strip for automatic guided vehicle?**
A: Not likely. This hardly holds up laminated paper on a white board.

**Q: Would this be good to replace a magnet that came off a lightweight handbag?  One of the magnet is still on the bag, I need one to glue on the flap**
A: Definitely NOT.  This so-called roll-n-cut is unwieldy and incredibly weak; it won't even hold a sheet of computer paper to the fridge.  You'd be better off with a neodyne round magnet or something in that like.  This stuff is more like the light-weight magnet you find in the craft section for turning your photos into fridge magnets.

**Q: Will this adhesive take the finish off wood when applied and removed?**
A: Hi Ralph,  Depends on the finish. Polyurethane is quite durable and should be fine, other stains and varnishes may not fare as well.
