You CANNOT buy your normal bra size - it will be way too tight in most cases. I had a breast reduction at the end of June and ordered this for my recovery bra rotation. I'm approximately a 34C after my reduction, but I ordered a 40 B/C in this bra because of my actual measurements that I took at the time I ordered (35" underbust, 40" overbust, I was still swollen a bit). That actually put me in the 40 AA/A category but I knew by the time I got this I wouldn't want super tight compression anymore so I sized up in the cup (if I had gotten this in time to use right after surgery, I probably would've gone with the AA/A). It fits great, is comfortable and has enough compression to keep things from moving around but not so much that it is uncomfortable on my still-tender incisions. The hook-and-eye closure on the front also has three columns so you can fit it looser or tighter on a given day depending on what feels best. It also doesn't show under clothes nearly as much as my zipper-front recovery bras. One other big benefit of this one for me over my other recovery bras is that the lower band DOESN'T ROLL. So many of my other recovery bras roll at the bottom band and it is so annoying - this one doesn't! Review: Perfect! - I recently had breast reconstructive surgery. This bra fits perfectly and is holding the girls in place where they need to be during the healing process! The other ones I tried had cotton in them, which was too thick for my taste, and it seemed to make me hotter/sweaty underneath the dressing. I purchased several more of these! Thank you for making a bra that works for what it is supposed to! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good masectomy post op option *by S***A on November 2, 2025* Bought additional bras after my plastic surgery office provided me with one for my post op phase and I liked the way they fit. I attempted to purchase some other front clasp bras but returned them when they didnt offer the same amount of sizing fledibility that I needed during my post op phases. I was a B cup prior to my bilateral masectomy and after my fills I was more of a C cup so it adjusted well to my increasing size that I was still comfortable.
