- Fifty Double Layer Wood Wicks, Clipped and Ready to Pour: A 5.1 by 0.5 inch base is bonded to a 5.1 by 0.2 inch booster and pressed into a metal sustainer, so nothing needs soaking, doubling, or a separate holder before you pour.
- The Booster Layer Exists Because Wood Draws Slowly: Cotton pulls fuel faster than wood. In a heavy wax a single ply starves, drowns in its own pool, and leaves unburned wax ringing the glass. The booster adds that draw.
- Wick Size Decides Everything, So Burn Test First: Wax type, jar width, fragrance load, and dye all change how a wick performs. Test one width up and one down first. A wick that tunnels is undersized, one that smokes is oversized.
- Natural Wood on a Weighted Metal Sustainer: The base holds each wick upright while the wax sets, so it will not lean or sink mid pour. Store the pack flat and dry and the two layers stay bonded until the day you use them.
- Trim to 3 to 5 mm of Clean Wood Before Every Burn: Wood will not relight through its own charred crust. Skipping the trim is the single most common reason a wood wick lights, sputters, and dies, and it is not a fault in the wick.
