Review: Great product- A couple of things to consider before you start the project… - Great, sturdy shelf system but there are some things to consider before you start screwing things together and affixing to the wall. 1.) The shorter pieces of pipe are for vertical and the longer pipes are for the shelves. 2.) Plan on how you want to affix the shelves, there are only enough pipe clamps to clamp in the middle of the shelf. If you want to install a clamp on the front and back of the shelf like we did, you will need more pipe clamps and the are nearly impossible to find in black. 3.) The drywall anchors do not have lips to prevent them from pushing into the wall. I would recommend not using the ones that come with the set for that reason, otherwise you will be screwing into the drywall and the screw and anchor will go into the wall, leaving you with a bunch of loose screws with no support, or you will have to take the whole bracket off and re-do with a different anchor. There are enough screws and anchors to make this sturdy with 1/2 installed properly, but this will make a big difference. Overall I will buy again and thing they look great! In addition, it might depend how long your planks are. Pain in the rear end to put up by yourself. Keep everything loose until you’re done. Don’t worry about making the uprights perfectly square.
