I tried with RockJam and they wanted proof before even considering helping me out. I wanted to be of help to them - you know, symbiotic , but they were rude, rude, rude. Just send it back to Amazon and hope you get a good one next time. Pyle is another option but doesn't have the clamps.

Q: How much weight does it handle?...I have a 5 kg console

No problem. My Novation synth is 4.2 kg and my mixer is 4.78 kg and they both are on the top rack of the 2 I own. Solid as a rock. But good luck getting all of the parts and that they line up and/or fit. I went with Pyle after receiving very rude replies from RockJam about their missing pieces. They’re basically identical except for Pyle including a shelf that is impossible to keep from tilting - even with lock washers. Nice idea but it doesn’t work.
