Review: It’s a beaut Clark - I have to give this 5 stars, even if installation was not easy at all. It was mostly because I had to reinforce the attic joist I needed to cut out of the way for the duct before I could even begin. You’ll definitely need some help too, because this thing is heavy. If you don’t have two very strong people to lift and hold it while you (the 3rd person) puts the screws in, you might need to use some creative problem solving to get it up in place. We had to place a ladder on one side of the island and put one end of an 8 ft long 2x4 on the ladder, with the range hood on top of the 2x4, and have one person lift the other end of the 2x4 and hold it in place while the other person threaded the screws in. Otherwise, just the 2 of us could not do it. In the end 5 stars because it’s simply gorgeous when completed, plus when I noticed the metal was bent on the lower chimney, and reached out to the seller, the only thing they wanted to know was my address, so they could send me a replacement asap, major thumbs up!

I’m extremely happy with the unit and very impressed with their customer service. I highly recommend this company and product. I purchased this item on Black Friday sale. The package arrived today and the product was damaged with a large dent in the corner. I really would like to have this vent, we turned it on and it was quiet and appeared to work well. My only option was to return it. I would really like an exchange. To purchase this item now is $50 more than when I purchased it.
