Made install on my brand new fork very easy. It made the install take less than 5 minutes. And it set the star nut straight. Before I would use my own method without any special tools, and it would go in a little crooked. But this tool made it very easy to set it at the correct distance in the tube and set it straight. Review: Impossible job without this...recommend pressing it in. - 5 stars because they got the job done. With the help of a 3lb hammer, a 2x4, and a concrete curb. I would have never got this to work if I didnt buy this tool. I would have rather waited and installed it in with my hydrolic press though. I had to whale on it, to the point of deforming the tool. And forget ever getting it out. Since it did the job, there is no complaints short of it may not put more than one in. ## Features - Suitable for 7/8,1,1-1/8 inches fork(22.2 mm,25.4 mm,28.6 mm) - Extremely easy to use.Follow the instruction picture and you can complete your work easily and quickly. - Stainless Steel and Matte Surface,Better materials and designs provide a better experience than others. - Package contains a free spare special screw and a free headset star nut. - The tool body had anodizing treatment to prevent corrosion. I tried doing it some other methods and it just didn’t go right luckily I realized I had to cut my steer tube so I got whack at it. The price it does exactly once advertised. I don’t get why the namebrand one is so expensive. It also fit perfectly on top of the steer tube no problems. I would definitely recommend this to anyone even a season shop mechanic for simple and effective star nut tool. ## Frequently Bought Together - GOLDEAL TOOPRE Bicycle Fork Star Nut Setting Installer with Free Spare Special Screw and 1 Free Star Nut （for 7/8",1",1-1/8"） - Sumind 11 Pieces Bike Carbon Fiber Headset Spacer Bicycle 1-1/8 Inch 20 15 10 5 3 2 1 mm, 7 Size - GOLDEAL Bike Front Fork Cutter,Seatpost/Seat Tube/Steerer Tube Cutter,1/4"- 1-5/8"(6mm-42mm) with A Spare Cutting Wheel for Cutting Copper/Brass/Aluminum/Stainless Steel/PVC/Plastic Tube.（Silver） --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/222189428-goldeal-toopre-bicycle-fork-star-nut-setting-installer-with-free](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/222189428-goldeal-toopre-bicycle-fork-star-nut-setting-installer-with-free) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
