No drivers, no software – just plug and play. - NO POWER SUPPLY NEEDED – This extender set requires no external power. Simply connect the transmitter to your HDMI source, run a Cat5e/6 cable between TX and RX, and connect the receiver to your display. Works instantly. - 1080P FULL HD @ 2.5GBPS – Delivers crisp 1080P resolution with 2.5Gbps signal transmission speed. Supports hot swapping. Note: This is a 1080P product – does NOT support 4K UHD. And by the way, they don't work well for what they were meant for. **Q: Not working for me from nvr reolink to tv. using a cat 6 also?** A: There should be no difference between cat 5 & cat 6 cable. I suppose cat 6 should be better, but I ran 50 feet of old cat 5 & it worked just fine. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Didn't work for me *by on Reviewed in the United States February 3, 2021* Did not work. Thought it was my cable, bought a new one, still didn't work. Bought a new laptop with built in ethernet port and the cable DID work so it had to be the adapter. Unfortunately my return window was 2 days ago before me and my tech guy realized it. Going into recycling bin... Serve no other purpose. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ easy set up *by on Reviewed in the United States February 19, 2026* I bought these with ZERO expectations as they are sub 10 bucks and an easy return if need be. Well all I can say is they work flawlessly out of the package. I mean time will tell but for less than 10 bucks buy again if needed. See photos. I am getting 1080p video but I am unable to verify with the current setup if the audio is multi channel. Put the TX at the source and for me it is a laptop and put the RX at the monitor and go. it is truly plug and play and connect ethernet cable between them and like I said. GO!!! From the pictures I am using a custom ethernet cable I built at 150 ish feet and note the coil cable. Thats 150 ft with 130 in a coil that acts like an inductor so I am very impressed with the quality of the video. ### ⭐ Lucky to get a few feet of cable to work *by on Reviewed in the United States April 9, 2021* Using 4 feet of Cat5e, but was initially hoping to use it across the room. This adapter is cheaply made and will not allow more than 4 feet to work at all. Also, no HDCP support makes this practically useless. First item came and was crushed, so obviously not very heavy-duty plastic. Will not buy again and strongly urge those who need to extend more than 3-4 feet to get a powered adapter set that supports HDCP. ## Frequently Bought Together - SNLLMZI HDMI Extender,HDMI to RJ45 Network Cable Extender Converter Repeater Over Cat 5e / 6 1080p up to 30m Extender for HDTV PS4 STB 4K 2K（2 PCS ） - avedio links HDMI Splitter 1 in 2 Out [with 4 Ft Hdmi Cable] Not for Extended Mode-Mirror Same Screen Only, 4K 1x2 HDMI Splitter 1 to 2 for 3D 1080P@60Hz, Copy 1 Source to 2 Displays at The Same Time - Wiistar HDMI Extender Over Cat5e/6 HDMI to RJ45 Extender Ethernet Network Converter Cable Repeater 1080P up to 60m HD MI Transmitter and Receiver for HDTV STB --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/221194470-hdmi-extender-30m-rj45-1080p-for-tv-ps4](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/221194470-hdmi-extender-30m-rj45-1080p-for-tv-ps4) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-22*
