Not so much as a click or hum out of it after installation. I verified that I had good voltage as well as a good ground. Even though I have a #10 AWG wire running from the vehicle frame directly to the window motor mounting screw, I went ahead and sanded the paint off the motor mounting surface and the motor mounting frame just to ensure there was no loss of ground, no luck. I borrowed a motor from a friend that was known to be a good working motor to test my wiring harness/switches, the borrowed motor worked flawlessly in my vehicle.The return.........Yes seller accepted the motor for return after several back and forth emails, yet they would not cover the $22 return shipping cost on their defective part.
