Fast, rugged and factory-built, the 3S LiPo-compatible ARRMA TYPHON 4X4 3S BLX RTR comes ready out of the box to bash on any terrain. Precision aluminum, tough steel and composite materials come together for an easy-to-maintain, super-durable vehicle design whose high downforce wing and low center of gravity, with wide arms and narrow wheels and tires, improve handling over race tracks, trails, muddy courses, skate parks and more. This version features new equipment that further increases the original buggy’s already impressive performance and durability. It also now includes a Spektrum SLT3 transmitter and SLR300 receiver. The transmitter is ergonomically designed for long periods of fatigue-free bashing and has a foam wheel for precise fingertip control plus an improved hand grip and trigger feel. New bashers will be able to set throttle limits at 50% or 75% until they are ready to use the full speed potential. The SLT3 is compatible with Tactic SLT receivers to run other RTR vehicles you may own, and includes a third channel to control optional features such as lights and winches on models that have them. ARRMA now powers the TYPHON 4X4 3S BLX with a brushless system featuring its BLX100 ESC and the Spektrum Firma 3200Kv brushless motor. The combination provides incredible torque, acceleration and speed. The transmission and chassis are ruggedly engineered to take full advantage of the electronics’ power — in ARRMA tradition, DESIGNED FAST, DESIGNED TOUGH. It has the ingenious modular design perfected by ARRMA engineers for easy component access and maintenance. The power module, with improved dirt management, consists of the motor with ARRMA heatsink and cooling fan, plus motor plate, slipper clutch assembly and gear cover. The power module can be detached from the chassis as a complete unit by removing just one screw. With the power module removed, the slipper clutch can be reached easily for adjustments by taking out three screws that attach the gear cover. The gear ratio can be finely tuned as the power module now uses a sliding motor mesh design. A two-piece molding screwed to the Speed Buggy’s chassis serves as its electronics module, containing a waterproof receiver box, servo mount and ESC tray. The SLR300 receiver mounts inside the receiver box for protection from dirt and moisture. Review: Worth every penny and then some! - The Typhon is amazing. Floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee. Seriously, it is very rugged and it is very fast for a 3S. I typically keep it set to 50% for my boys and for me 75%. At 100% throttle it has way too much power to control. Seriously, 100% throttle is fishtailing it launches so hard and will easily go 50 mph in a few seconds. 100% throttle is manageable in the grass, but still way more than your average person needs. In addition, the quality is top notch. Built like a $500+ car. Fan on the ESC and motor. Solid and thick plastic all around. The suspension is perfectly tuned, and the wait balance lets if fly like a bird. Don't hesitate, buy this. You will not regret it. I paired mine with a pair of Zeee 3S Lipo Battery 7200mAh and fireproof storage pouch. Using a Gens Ace Lipo Battery Charger IMARS D300 G-Tech Series Smart Dual Lipo Charger. Have fun!
Review: I was hesitant spending this much but this thing is a ton of fun and almost invincible. - I've wanted a high quality RC car for a long time, and finally decided to bite the bullet and shell out the cash for a good one. I was a little hesitant spending $450+ on the car+batteries+charger. After much research it, it seemed that this car was the obvious choice. So I bought it. This thing totally lives up to my expectations. It's unbelievably fast. It's all waterproof (except the battery of course) so you can just rinse it off when you're done driving it through the grass and snow. The tires are a good hybrid for on-road and off-road driving. But the best part is this thing's durability. I've used plastic folding tables as ramps to propel it into the air over and over, sometimes landing one one wheel and doing a cartwheel, and it didn't get damaged at all. The bottom is scratched up from slapping against pavement, and I even managed to take a chip out of it somehow, but this thing is tough as nails. The only thing I've broken is the wing- I had to drive it over a snow bank at full speed, sending it flying into the air only to land on its wing, digging the corner of it into the ground and snapping part of it off. $11 for a replacement wing from my local hobby store and I was set! Would definitely buy again. Almost wish I got the 6s version, but I think that one weighs more, so it's not really much better.

**Q: I know it doesn’t come with the batteries for the controller but does it come with the battery for the RC car?**
A: You need to purchase your own batteries the batteries you need to buy is an a IC5 battery connector

**Q: Is it sufficient enough out of the box or does it require immediate upgrades?  First RC purchase, not looking to purchase a list of extras.**
A: As long as you purchased the battery and charger it is ready to run out of the box . This was my first electric 1/8 and is good beginner car and so far seems to be tough enough to withstand some punishment however I am disappointed with its performance compared to my nitro 1/8 but with electric you don't have to deal with the fuel, fine tuning and maintenance the nitros require. I'll spend more on my next electric on something more powerful and equivalent to the nitro however the price of doing so will about double what I spent on this and will not be upgrading this car.

**Q: Could it run on zeee 3s 11.1v 60c 6000mah rc lipo battery?**
A: Yes it can, if its a hard case 3s or 2s battery

**Q: Will a 100C 9200mA Hoovo battery fit this?**
A: If your battery is 3s, it will fit

The Typhon is amazing. Floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee. Seriously, it is very rugged and it is very fast for a 3S. I typically keep it set to 50% for my boys and for me 75%. At 100% throttle it has way too much power to control. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love this car!

Well it's been about 6 months and I've put this thing through it's paces. It's held up to some punishment. The only real damage has been to the motor mount which bent from my giant 4076, 2050 kv brushless motor I installed. Came down hard and the weight of the motor bent the mount and cracked the plastic chassis. Fixed it up with a hammer to flatter it back out. Epoxy for the cracked chassis did the trick. -here's a little trick..add a few drops of acetone(fingernail polish remover) to your two-part epoxy to give it a little bit of malleability. I've found two-part epoxy to be very brittle but doing this gives it some flexibility and prevens it from cracking. Anyway, I love my Typhon. The handing is right up front and she turns sharp on the corners. These 2300kv BLX motors are TOUGH! I've been running two of these on 4s and they are doing just fine. I don't really do any speed runs but I wouldn't be afraid to do so. This car SOARS! It flies through the air clean and mean. Stays level and lands on a cushion of pillows. If something ever happened to this car or it got stolen, I'd definitely get another but I'm prone to venture into the 6s range. But this the Typhon 3s BLX has NOT disappointed. It's a great great car for an amazing price.
