You can customize the space between the end of your grips and the first bend in the bars.If you have a shift levers, brake levers, a horn, or drink holder you may want more or less space between the end of your hand grips and that bend. I suspect everyone will want to trim the length they come back from that final bend. I have two pics with this review. The first pic, shot outside, shows the bars after I trimmed them. The picture shot in the bike shot shows them before I trimmed them for length. Look at the gap between the end of the grips and the brake lever and that final bend of the bars where they level off for the grips.Would I buy them again for another build? Yes. Since installing these handlebars I have experienced no more hand numbness and the ride is much more comfortable. Great quality aluminum tubing with a strong finish. There is the slightest amount of flex when leaning down on the handlebars but I find this is a benefit as it provides just a bit of flex - and therefore comfort - when riding over bumps.
