I do think there is about 5 inches wiggle room, it probably just depends on the overall size of your furniture frame. Mine has a good amount of slack in all directions. For reference, my furniture at the widest points is 58 in wide, 37.5 in deep and 32 in High. **Q: The outdoor couch we ordered is 85.4" wide.
