I did buy another RGB pond light to replace the standard white light that comes with it (see video). It seems well constructed. The pump can be adjusted to get just the right level of ambiance. And I love that it has the spot for a nice plant at the top. Things I don’t love are the fact that the pot up top has no drainage. It also seems like a missed opportunity that the fountain can’t automatically provide water to that pot. Seems like a few more minutes at the drawing board and they could have easily solved that one. But these are rather minor issues. Overall this fountain looks fantastic; it sounds fantastic, and we just love the way it tied our garden together. You can’t beat the price! The second place fountain we were considering was $1200 more expensive than this one. If you spend any time looking at fountains you’ll find they are mostly ugly and very overpriced. Super super easy assembly. It looks like heavy stone but it’s more of a lighter plastered plastic material. The water sounds so tranquil on the patio. My settings dial is stuck on fast but it’s neat that would have been an option to adjust. The only thing I’m a little pissy about is that the pump plug in takes up both the outlets. So I’m unable to use the separate light plug unless I get a power strip and all that which I’m not messing with. So I plopped a lawn solar light in the water and hoping for the best.
