First off I installed this in our 38' 5th wheel trailer. There were some added challenges that came into play. The area for the Queen size bed is a slide-out. The mattress sits on a glorified Cherry-wood plywood box that has a piano hinge at the head board so you can lift the entire bed up for 10" of storage underneath. This meant drilling a few holes. Two for the pump tubes and two for the remote wires. It was pretty easy using an 1 1/2" hole saw bit for the tubes and a 3/4" for the wires. I watched to installation video several times and would highly recommend it. Connections for the pump and hoses were quick and simple. The pump holds pressure and nothing leaked then and now. A special note: when we received the bed it was in a "large" cardboard box. The box was all but destroyed by the freight company. The mattress was wrapped in a large plastic bag that saved it from abuse. Getting it into the 5th wheel was a bit of a chore for my wife and I, it's heavy and bulky but manageable. Like waltzing with a Polar Bear. I used a hand truck and was able to position it in the door way and let it fall inside. We started the installation as per the video. It's actually pretty cool the way it all comes together. The one thing I didn't like was the small zipper that actually secures the top half to the bottom of the bed. In my opinion it's to small I would like see something more substantial. We thought several times during the zip-up we were going to break it but didn't. The other components of the bed are first rate and good quality including the remotes and pump. The pump filled the air mattresses very quickly and adjustments were flawless. The bed is "VERY" comfortable. It will take several nights to find your sweet spot or firmness level. Took me about a week. It's pure sleeping bliss as advertised. I bought this bed from Best Beds in Seattle WA, a real nice guy named Jim for a little less than $1,600 delivered. Give Jim a call he will take care of you. His customer service is the very best. We were on the verge of buying a Sleep Number for $2,700 when we found this bed. I think this is a better bed with better components for a lot less money. We are very happy and would recommend this to anyone looking for this type bed.UPDATE 3/21 on the bed and pump. The pump did go out a couple of weeks ago. At first we, Jim at Best Beds and the Innomax factory in CO thought it was one of the controller's. After they sent me a new controller we found it was the pump. Innomax did send a new pump and two new controller's, they work great back to normal. Once again Jim was very helpful and so was Innomax. Yes, it was a pain but "stuff" happens so I will leave my rating as 5 stars because of good customer service. I'm still convinced the bed is the very best.UPDATE: May 21 on the bed and pump. I'm having problems with the pump and or controllers once again. My wife's side is not maintaining a constant pressure. It fluctuates up and down which is puzzling. I'm calling Innomax today. Because of this I have down graded the bed from 5 to 4 stars. It remains a very comfortable bed when working properly. More postings to follow.UPDATE: July 1. Still having problems with the pump and or controller. Called the factory and they seemed confused so said they would call me back. I'm dropping my rating down to 3 stars. I'm waiting to hear back.UPDATE: July 19. I have had contact with the factory several times and with Jim at Best Beds in Seattle WA who sold me the bed. All involved are willing to do anything it takes to get the controller or pump back in working order. They have suggested a series of tests to determine what the specific problem might be. In the next couple of days I will follow their instructions and pass along the information. Make no mistake they are willing and eager to send me whatever I need to make it right. All in all both are good companies to work with. I'm boosting my rating back to 4 stars and probably 5 stars when we get this fixed. This is a fantastic bed that my wife and I enjoy every day especially being in our RV.UPDATE: Jan 24 2014. 5 star rating !!! We have had the bed almost a year now and just love it. It's in our 38' 5th wheel. Yes it was easy to install. It really is beyond comfortable. Recently we had a problem with the controllers and the pump but I'm happy to report Edna person in charge of warranty issues at the Innomax plant in CO. along with Jim owner of Best Beds in Seattle WA. (where we purchased the bed) took immediate action and sent me a brand new pump and controllers. I'm happy to report I've installed them and they work perfectly. Happy Days !!! Thanks to both Jim and Edna for their first class customer support. Both are fine companies to work with, a rarity in this day and age. Once again if you are in the market for an air bed save your money on Sleep Number and buy an Innomax Medallion, It is the very best at hundreds less.
