Because of this, every few weeks in the summer the grocery store squeezers would snap at the base. This is simply a non-issue with these. They aren't going to break from hard squeezes or fatigue from repeated use. They're strong and well made. If I remember I'll come back and remark on corrosion resistance. DECEMBER 26th UPDATE: After over two months of use, 2-3 times per week, squeezing 2 limes and 2 lemons each use, it appears to be very corrosion resistant. I purchased a different squeezer by a different manufacturer and it was used opposite this one with equal frequency, which corroded badly. This squeezer is a great purchase and should last. The complaint about the wobbly handle is pointless. The hinge should be loose to allow wash water to flow through in order to eliminate any residual juice.

I was afraid this product would be flimsy, but far from it. It's very sturdy and easy to use. I took the advice of many on Amazon, who said to turn the cut fruit, upside down, with the skin facing up, and the fruit facing down, on the holes. Works like a charm, with no seeds whatsoever. I suppose they're pressed into the squeezed fruit. I've used it about 7 times, so far, but as of now, I would highly recommend this product.
