This little grill is exactly that. Cheap and light, but gets the job done. I wouldn't be grilling Grade A steaks, but for hot dogs and hamburgers, it grills fine. It holds the coal and cooks your food. It's not going to look pretty or even feel sturdy, but for the price and the weight, it's great! It did come in with a few dings, but that's very much insignificant, because the paint job even began to fade where the coals were sitting on after only one grill. So if those things actually bother you, then avoid this grill.
