Size is weird so I ordered small (I am a wide footed women's size 7). I probably could have ordered the next size up but I’m happy that I got the small so it is less noticeable with my black sandals (it is summer). My toes are about a half inch from the edge. If you had toe surgery definitely get the medium! It’s comfortable enough (I shouldn’t be walking much anyway). It keeps my foot safe. It is affordable. You can cut the Velcro if it is too long and the straps are adjustable. I had to cut them down a bit.
