It removes so much hair! Unfortunately, I assumed it would stop pulling hair out once the loose hair had been brushed out but it just keeps going and now my cat has a bald strip on her back with almost no undercoat. I can't tell if her skin is also scraped or just irritated but it looks pinker than her other skin. I didn't notice until I looked at her at a different angle. From the front you can't really see it but from behind and from the side it's pretty noticeable. She was purring the entire brushing so it doesn't seem to hurt her but she does keep trying to lick that part of her back. I feel terrible! I wasn't brushing her aggressively and it only for about 5 minutes. I had no idea this could even happen. Perhaps she has a thinner coat?*WARNING* Will keep pulling out undercoat until there isn't any left. It just keeps coming.
