These worked as expected. You may find that you need to pry the clip open a bit in order to get them wedged onto your existing can. I also did not feel the need to take the time to attached them with the provided screw. The friction mount seemed to work well enough.

I used it to install retrofit LED lights w/trim.  Worked great.  The screw isn't necessary since the LED lights are lightweight and the clips are very tight.  That's a good thing because it's near impossible to screw them into the housing.  My biggest complaint is that they come in a 10 pack.  I have 2 leftover, and at $4 each that's a waste.

These did the trick - replaced the broken tabs in our can lights perfectly. The original can light units had the tabs "bent in" by the electrician. When we went to update to the Feit Electric LED retro fit units, the original tabs broke off when trying to bend them back out. These little units solved that issue.
