Review: Great for repiping my old , now rebuilt air compressor - I have an old Husky 60 gal air compressor that was a single stage pump & a 2hp motor, rebuilt it to a 2 stage pump, and now with a 5hp motor, used 1/2" ID / 5/8" OD type L soft copper tubing and used the spring type hand benders, don't get me wrong they work, just not a tight enough bend that I want. So did a lot of research here on desertcart and found this cool little gem " pipe bender". Bought it and got this on Thursday night, so now Saturday doing all my pipe bending and damn thus is wonderful. In my final thoughts I used so grease from my grease gun on the copper pipe and it didn't kink at all. So Yes anyone who is bending soft copper or aluminum pipe Yes I would recommend this. It is made well and it will last if you take care of it.!!!!!!😎

**Q: I just received this kit and tried to bend 1/2" type M pipe and 3/4" type L. Cracked both times. What am I doing wrong?**
A: You need to provide more detail! Assuming you are using the correct bending die and technique, You are probably trying to bend copper pipe that is draw temper (hard) instead of annealed temper (soft). You may be able to annealing and quenching the the section of pipe you want to bend. Hard copper is not meant to be bent.

**Q: Is there a Reverse bend attachmenr for this?**
A: This tube bender kit does not come with a reverse bend attachment.

**Q: Will this bend conduit (aluminum) without causing it to kink?**
A: Yes conduit aluminum is soft and should easily bend using the correct size bending die.

**Q: where can I find a Manual for this did not come with one.**
A: In the trash where those benders belong

This bender works well, it seems to be a little bit cheaply built, but for my use, which is only occasionally it works well.
