Of course, with all the scratching over the years the smooth top layer was worn away. The product soaked right in and blended the rough areas in without leaving residue later in the day. This time around it’s purely for black and dark brown leathers, so no problem there. Already in the midst of a satisfying renovation of a 20 year old Schott Perfecto, and in the queue are a pair of dark brown Frye boots.
