Flexible device with many uses
I really liked the sturdiness and flexibility of this manual can opener

Superlative
No moving parts, easy to hold, easy to clean, fits in the drawer. Once the compound notch of the opener is seated properly on the can rim, the initial puncture is surprisingly effortless and continues to cut out the lid like butter. The Seki is second only to the can opener on a c. 1985 Victorinox Champion, and second only because the Champion is even easier to clean.

Great Quality, Easy to Use, Sturdy as Hell
So well made you would think this is an antique from back when they made things this solid.Nice heft to it, quality build yet easy enough to use, and fits the hand nicely. Also, it is left-handed - an increasingly difficult thing to find in general, but almost critical for things like a can opener.

felt like i was not opening a can
it felt like i was only wrenching some loose bolt out. it just needed a little getting used to. i only use this for work, for lunch at the work lounge, when i bring canned food to work. we have a lot of potlucks at work so so far this has served me well. once you get used to using a manual can opener then youre all good and this one works really well just dont over use it cause you might get a carpal tunnel surgery some time in the future

Not for my weak hands
I’m Disabled with painful arthritis in both hands. I couldn’t even puncture the can to get it started. I tried it after punching a hole with an ice pick but I still could not get it open. Metal shavings were coming up and that was the best I could do. So if the power goes out I will have to depend on my old Rubbermaid manual can opener. It is very difficult for me but after a few breaks I am able to open a can. I hope this review helps someone else with weak hands.

This is the perfect can opener.
I have purchased Numerous expensive can openers, and all of them had problems opening cans that would not allow them to work properly. This can opener is able to open any can it may take a little longer, but it is unstoppable.

best type of can opener on earth
over the past 4 years I've bought 4 different types of can openers, because they all broke within an year. I've grown from home where we had similar type of can opener as this one, which our family held onto since prior to I was born. Lasted good 25+ years, and is on-going at my mother's kitchen. I was trying to find one and had found that amazon held these at a reasonable price, so I instantly bought it and tried it out. Works like charm. 5 star product.

Finally we found a can opener as we had in Iran
Finally we found a can opener as we had in Iran. The can openers that are existed in the market, just gets broken every month and we have to pay for another. We even tried the expensive one but just longer life. These openers are the openers that we used to use in Iran and you can use them life long if the handle is resistant enough.
