STP, began with one product — STP Oil Treatment. It helped automobile motor oil resist thinning at high temperatures and pressures. My car only has about 35K miles on it, but from what I was reading, you can get build up in as little as 10K miles. The next day I went on a road trip of over 300 miles. This trip usually takes about 3/4 of a tank of gas. It only took about 5/8 of a tank. The return trip was even better using barely 1/2 tank. It’s insurance just in case for GTI intake valves. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Might harm O2 sensor’s *by R***T on August 23, 2022* During use CEL may come on which is to be expected and is mentioned on instructions It did function as advertised and there is real improvement in engine idle and response However after 1 week all 4 Up y down stream O2 sensors are either flat line or slow response on diagnosis analysis with computer. No CEL Engine 2015 with 108K miles Silverado 4.3 V6 It is not certain these were failing before using product. It is certain there would be other post , this coild be coincidental.
