Review: Simple And Great Design - Amazing stands. The hydraulic mechanism makes it incredibly easy to get your speakers high in the air where they should be. It's also fairly easy and intuitive to lower as well. Holds my 15" PAs no problem, no shaking or wobbling what so ever. Will probably be buying second set for my 12s.
Review: Best speaker stands I've ever used. Period - Good sturdy stands. Way nicer than the Pyle stands that I purchased previously. Much more stability and height though the lift assist doesn't offer much help. I do enjoy slowly lowering the speakers though before taking them off at the end of the night when I'm already tired.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can the silver 35mm mounting part be removed so I can mount speaker bracket to the 1.5 inch telescoping tube?**
A: The silver sleeve can be pulled clear out of the center post. It has spring loaded buttons that can be held in as the sleeve is pulled out.

**Q: Do these offer lift assist?**
A: This stand does not offer lift assist. It will help by not allowing the speaker to slide back down when it has been lifted even bit by bit. Then there is a lock position. The speaker can be lowered slowly by moderating the locking ring.

**Q: I have read that these stands rattle when playing certain frequencies from the speaker placed on them. Is this still a problem?**
A: I can't see that happening. These are the best stands I have ever used. Very sturdy, we'll worth the money. Never had any rattling or vibration issues - I use my stands 100% outdoors, so maybe it's harder to hear if there is a vibration?

**Q: What's the height for the standard and what's the height for the extra tall?**
A: Standard: 3'8" - 6'7"
Extra Tall: 5'2"- 9'2"

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid Stand, manufacturing inconsistencies

It's probably the best portable stand I've used, but the switch feature is mired by inconsistencies in manufacturing. One of the stands was perfect, the telescoping portion moved smoothly. However, the other stnad was super stiff, required a lot of force to get the telescoping portion to move, which made the raise/lower/lock switch moot. However, in the end, still a very solid speaker stand.
