Some sugar free syrups taste like sweeteness first and have little actual flavor (many Skinny syrup flavors are like that for me). This is actually flavorful! It reminds me of maraschino cherry "juice"- the liquid that the cherries sit in, but a tad thicker and more flavorful. I use this with my iced matcha (green tea powder). I am not a big fan of the taste of straight matcha, and since I use more than what is necessary, I need something to mellow out the flavor. I love adding pineapple, lemon, or cherry syrup to my iced matcha. I couldn't remember if I had any cherry, so when I stumbled upon this on sale, I scooped it up.
