I have flat feet. I bought these on a whim. I've had such bad pain lately- thinking I may need new orthotics.Day 1 - they look wide in my sneakers but feel surprisingly comfortable. I wore them for a few hoursDay 2 - my arches ache a bit but no other foot pain - thr aching arches are better than the other painDay 3 & 4 - Same as day 2Day 5 - I'm definitely feeling less aching arches and much less PF pain. I've noticed myself taking these orthotics in and out of very shoe I wear.Day 6, 7- PF pain continues to decrease. My shoe size is usually a women's 7.5-8. I purchased Walkcomfy's Yellow & Red Inserts in the 7-7.5 size, and the 3/4 length inserts in the 7.5-9 size. Unfortunately, the location and/or lack of height of the arch support wasn't enough from any of these inserts for my narrow, high-arched feet.Yellow Insert:-Arch support falls closer to the middle of the foot.-Arch support is slightly taller than the Red and 3/4 insert.-Heel cup is slighter deeper than the Red and 3/4 insert.-Cushioning is superb throughout the insert, especially the heel cup area. You will not feel the rigid base. Quality appears great and pricing even better, especially compared to the cost of custom-made inserts.-Insert fit well in shoe after original the insert was removed (No cutting needed. No slipping noted).-You will feel the metatarsal pad support at first, but (at least for me) the prominence quickly subsides as your foot welcomes the extra support.*Again, so close but no cigar. The arch support is just slightly too low in height for my high arches, and this insert would be better for wider feet. They do have a break-in period. I highly recommend trying in several pairs of your shoes since shoes offer their own variety of support. They were the correct size.Update 5/2/24: I exchanged the mis-sized ones for a new pair of these in my size, Mens 13. But when they came, although the container label said Mens 13, the insoles inside were actually smaller, probably a size 9. I returned them for a replacement, which came today. It is also about a size 9, even though the packaging again says 13. So, that's two mis-sized pairs in a row from Amazon. I will try ordering them elsewhere.FYI, I compared the two pair I received over the last few days with other pairs of them I have bought in the past. The ones I have been buying are 12 inches long. (And they fit perfectly in my size 13 shoes.) These are 11 inches long.So, someone at the factory or the distributor is putting the wrong size into the marked bags. Or perhaps they ran out of Mens 13 and figured they'll just stick shorter ones in there and most people will not send them back.Original review: I have been wearing podiatrist-made custom orthotics since the 1980's, for running and other activities. Lately, I developed some pain around my second metatarsal -- center of foot, right behind middle toe -- and my orthotics only seemed to make it worse. Tried these and much to my surprise, they relieved pain immediately and seemed to provide excellent support.They are pretty solid, with a good arch support. In the metatarsal area, behind the middle toes, there is a little bubble-like pad. Apparently, that's the key. In any case, my metatarsal pain has gone completely away. Now, that could also be because I have added some toe-stretching to my exercise routine, can't be sure. But I have been wearing them for several months now, for running, gym, and just walking around. Right now have no significant pain in my feet whatsoever.Might not work for you--everybody's different.
