The government should be subsidizing these... seriously. I used to call myself the cold-queen as I got sick so often. Now I evangelize these things to all my friends. Great that they now make them sugar free as you have to keep them in your mouth as long as possible and sugar is just bad for you all round, never mind your teeth.Zinc appears to inhibit viral replication, so take these the second you think you might have a cold coming on or when your nearest and dearest come down with one. But you have to follow the directions closely. As soon as you feel you might be getting sick, use these zinc tablets. Do 2-3 per day, but not on an empty stomach. Let them dissolve in your mouth over 15-20 minutes. Don't have citric acid 30 min. before or after. Many other throat drops contain citric acid, so you have to pay attention. If you don't catch it right away, you may still get sick, but keep it up and it will be gone in 4 days. It's still a difficult 4 days, but it sure beats the 10-14 days of a usual cold!
