I can't say for sure a mouse couldn't get in, but it would have to do some major chewing work to do so. We got this to sort a wasp problem and it worked a treat. **Q: Does this vent come with screw fixings?** A: No fixings were supplied with mine. Just a tip to remove the outer grille you need to use a flat knife push down on one of the edges and lever it off.when fixing the back plate don't over tighten screws or the grille will be hard to press on. **Q: Can I buy a plastic ducting connector that will fit into the 150mm grill?** A: Yes, buy plastic zip ties and use one of them **Q: What is the size of the 'clicked in place' removable grille, and could this part be supplied seperately.** A: The grille is the size of the square vent and you will have to ask the supplier if the sell it separately. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent wall vent grille *by C***D on 30 September 2024* I live in a 2 year old property that had the β€˜flap’ vent grille style fitted. These were very noisy, flapping around when there was any wind, and one of the flaps eventually broke (as per the picture), so not great after only 2 years.So I wanted a replacement that a) was not noisy and b) would last, and these grilles looked to fit the bill. Quality is good, I liked the dark brown colour, matched the brick colour nicely and they were easy to fit (I fitted 2).With the new grille you first need to remove the louvred part, which is simply done by getting a small flat headed screwdriver and prising away from the frame of the grille. Some care is needed, so not to break the holding tabs, but took less than 60 seconds.Once I removed the old grille from the wall I found that the 2 screw holes matched the new grille, so was a case of snipping off the cable tie that held the pipe to the grille, attaching to the new grille, wrapping a new cable tie around and screwing the frame into the wall. Place the fly screen and then the grille into the frame, again being careful and job done! Note… as you are installing ensure that both the frame and louvred grille are placed the right way up.It was very windy last night and it was whisper quiet (great!), so works very well. Time will tell on longevity but they look the part and are solid….recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good replacement vent *by G***T on 24 April 2025* Arrived quickly and the quality looks good and matched Cotswold stone.
