There is no extra protection of lens and they are definitely not scratch resistant, you have to be carefull for them. But I am very satisfied with Theta S, these are not any limits in practical usage of this device. **Q: Can you view the photos using an Oculus Rift?** A: I do not have Oculus Rift, but I assume it will be possible since photos and videos can be seen in 360 view on browsers and phones.
