I use this device to be the internet connection on my SharkRF Open Spot, in the absence of a direct internet connection **Q: Is this good for iPad Air how do I hook it up** A: Yes, it is good for iPad Air, you can connect USB power adpater to get power. Then configure it to your wifi router signal, then iPad Air connect to this to get wifi. **Q: Never completes the final “reboot” (ipad hotspot). it does not connect to this input after repeat power-up. why?** A: same issue - just sat on the 'rebooting' animation. Never connected **Q: Why are there 2 power terminals, and do they each have the same parameters?** A: 1 is ethernet port, for connecting to PC. 2 is USB power provision 3 is same as 2. It has a small plug hole that can accept 5v DC power chargers, and is pretty redundant. Especially since the USB port is plugged in an exactly the same cord. The one on the USB cable side is female, the other on the device side is male. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not worth buying... *by C***A on 18 July 2020* Great Product. But, price is too high... I purchased the same item here in Amazon 1800 Rs... ## Frequently Bought Together - VONETS VAP11G-300 WiFi Bridge 2.4GHz WiFi to Ethernet Convert/WiFi Repeater/Point to Point with RJ45 Male DC/USB Powered for PLC IP Camera Printer Medical Devices Network Devices - IOGEAR Universal Ethernet to Wi-Fi N Adapter - Speeds of up to 300Mbps on 2.4GHz - Push-button Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) - Supports WEP, WPA, WPA2, TKIP and AES encryption - GWU637 - TP-Link AC1200 WiFi Extender, 2025 Wirecutter Best WiFi Extender, 1.2Gbps home signal booster, Dual Band 5GHz/2.4GHz, Up to 1600 Sq.ft and 32 Devices, EasyMesh Compatible, One Ethernet Port (RE315) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/209903966-vonets-vap11g-300-wireless-portable-wifi-repeater-bridge-ap-modes](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/209903966-vonets-vap11g-300-wireless-portable-wifi-repeater-bridge-ap-modes) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
