A: He is a mighty foe.  Have you tried crab cracking tools? They have plenty of seafood tool sets here on Amazon.

**Q: Is this fresh?**
A: Yes, our crab ship live to you overnight.

**Q: Would you be able to keep it as a pet?**
A: Most likely not. Dungeness crab are difficult to keep alive in captivity.   They are not as hardy as lobsters, for example. Unless you have a proper setup and are experienced, they wont stay alive long.

**Q: What sex are the crabs?**
A: The crabs are male. Females are illegal to harvest.

The shipment of 8 lbs. of live crabs came a day late, but that was an issue with UPS, not the seller. They were very much alive and delicious. The crabs, that is…not the seller 🤪.Pacific Dream Seafoods kindly reached out to me when Amazon estimated my shipping date as January 9th, instead of the 3rd. Kudos to them!
